Can you believe that another month has come and gone? June was another rocky month in the investing world. The S&P 500 officially entered a bear market on June 13th, and the EURO STOXX 50 is also in bear territory. In June, the S&P 500 and the EURO STOXX 50 fell by 8.39% and 8.82%, respectively.

Newbies on the map
In June, three companies made their debut on our map, being traded the most for the first time. Since they are new names, here’s a brief introduction of each:
While Pinterest is a new name on our map, it’s likely that you’ve heard of it before. Pinterest operates a social network that allows its 433 million users to share and discover new ideas like recipes, products, style, home inspiration and more. Users share content on the platform as ‘Pins’, which users can save and categorise into ‘Boards’. The company makes money from advertising on its platform, primarily from promoted Pins that look similar to user-generated posts.
Atos
Atos, the most traded stock among our French clients, provides digital solutions and services worldwide. It specialises in advanced computing, cloud services, Internet of Things, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, digital consulting and more. Atos’ solutions are used in many sectors, including financial services, healthcare, manufacturing and defense, among others.
Powszechny Zaklad Ubezpieczen (PZU)
Last but not least is PZU. PZU is one of the largest financial institutions in Poland, and provides property and casualty insurance to customers in Poland, the Baltic States and Ukraine.
Biggest movements
There wasn’t a real winner in June because all the stocks on the map saw price drops in June. Hungary-based OTP Bank had the smallest decrease in price at 4.49%, making it the “winner”. Atos was on the losing end, dropping by nearly half at 47.75%.
