How do I link a new bank account to my DEGIRO account?

Follow these steps to link a new bank account to your DEGIRO account and set it up as your primary account for deposits and withdrawals:

1. Go to 'Profile' > 'Linked bank accounts' > 'Link new account'.
2. Enter the IBAN of the bank account that you want to link, then select 'Next'.
3. Information about the destination account will appear, starting with 'NL24'.
4. Send the verification payment from your new IBAN, entering your username as the transfer reference.
5. The new account will be automatically verified within 3 working days.

Please note:

• It is not necessary to scan the QR code.
• This is an international transfer. 
• The minimum amount is 0.01 EUR. Once the funds have been transferred to your DEGIRO account, you will be able to use them for trading.
• If you have not received the funds by the 4th business day, please contact our Service Desk.
• You must be the account holder to link an account.
• We do not accept payments from corporate accounts or e-money services.

Once your new bank account has been verified, you can set it as your primary bank account by following the steps below, as explained our FAQ:

1. Go to 'Profile' > 'Linked bank accounts' > 'Edit' > 'Use account for deposits and withdrawals'.
2. Select 'SMS Verification'.
3. Confirm the change.
