No, trading crypto on margin is not supported on our platform.
If you have the Margin Loan service enabled, you can activate crypto trading. However, to place a crypto buy order, you must have a sufficient positive cash balance in your account. If you do not have sufficient funds, your crypto buy order may be cancelled.
If I hold crypto, can I use my Margin Loan to trade other financial instruments?
Yes, when trading products other than crypto, you can use your 'Available to trade' space as usual. Your crypto holdings will be excluded from collateral for margin purposes, but your Margin Loan will still work the same way as it did before you started trading crypto.
