We are excited to release our new trading platform, which was designed based on feedback from our clients and changing technology. The new version of the platform aims to improve trading experience and usability.
What has changed?
Unified platform
We have unified the app and desktop version of our platform, creating a seamless transition between the two. Previously, some features on the WebTrader were not accessible via the app. For example, it was not possible to change contact details or account settings through the app. Switching devices to access certain features will no longer be necessary. It is now possible to manage all aspects of a DEGIRO account and investments anytime, anywhere.
Ease of use
When making changes to our platform, improvements in ease of use are of high priority. Not only did we improve the readability, but the complete navigation has become more efficient.
Stocks to watch
The new platform provides an overview of ‘stocks to watch’. This is a selection of companies that are in the news, are experiencing a higher than average trading volume, or are related to an IPO. This is included to provide you with some insights into stocks that are relevant at the moment. Investing in stocks on the watch list is made easy. When clicking on the green 'B' next to the stock in question, an order box will appear so that orders can be placed quickly and simply.

Apart from the aforementioned, the new platform will allow us to add many more features that will improve trading experiences:
Adding financial data
Clients will soon get access to significantly more news feeds and market data on our platform. The latter will include current financials, dividend calendars, pricing data, financial ratios, and much more.
Dark mode
We also have a dark mode option in the works. With this, it will be possible to choose between the regular display and the battery-saving dark mode for all devices. We hope that providing these visual options will improve investing experiences even further.
Tailor-made
The next step is to make accounts customisable and even more personal. We want to make it possible for users to select the data they want to see and where it is placed. We will make sure the information shown is personalised, for example, by highlighting news relevant to the positions in clients’ portfolios. By doing this, clutter is cut down on the dashboard and there is more room for things that are relevant to clients.
Feedback on the new platform
We are curious what clients think about the new trading platform! There is a built-in feedback option within the new trading platform where users can let us know opinions and thoughts about it. We value all feedback that we receive from clients as it enables us to continuously make improvements.
